“Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.”

The past few months have gone by rather quickly, but that's what time is all about. It tends to fly by when you are enjoying it, leaving you in an awe-struck spiral of good memories. When I applied for the fellowship, I was under the impression that it would just turn out to be a dry but informative fellowship but THANK GOD! I was wrong!

The fellowship turned out to be one of the best decisions that I could have had taken, I have met very wonderful people throughout this session all accompanied by their own talents and skills.

Just like the birds soaring high, I have decided to go “Big” or go “Home”

Before the fellowship, I have always had trouble with self-improvement outside of the normal ways, and after attending the many sessions at Amal, I really found my rock which has enabled me to learn and learn.

Enabling me to find the “WHY” behind what it is that I was doing has helped me understand myself better and how to carefully plan out the next steps is the best thing that learned about during the fellowship.

In the first two weeks, we learned about Amal Academy values, principles, and learned about SMART goals.

  1. Honesty
  2. Growth
  3. Responsibility
  4. Humility
  5. Acceptance

All these values are interlinked with each other and it helps a person to develop their own values accordingly too.

  1. Amal
  2. Khudi
  3. Kaam Kaam Kaam
  4. Aik or Aik gyara

These principles have helped me in my quest for self-development and how to work accordingly for it on the road. Each and every activity was carefully curated along with these principles.

I thank the AMAL Team for helping me through this quest!

This is Tabrez Hamid! Signing off!
